The Chemical Dosing Systems Upgrade project upgrades both of Seqwater’s West and East Bank Water Treatment Plant’t chemical dosing systems. A total of 10 chemical dosing skids comprising of approx. 40 dosing pumps are controlled from a new redundant Honeywell C200 HPC (Hybrid Process Controller) at each plant. Chemical makeup and batching systems are also part of the scope of works with the control of all equipment fed out of custom built Control Panels designed, documented, manufactured and installed by CE Group.

The project includes the integration of the new equipment into Seqwater’s network SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system providing full equipment control, diagnostics and data trending. Project documentation is being provided to Seqwater’s standards including software development standards for PLC and SCADA programs.
