300 GEORGE PRE-COMPLETION UPDATE
In March 2016, CEQ Australia was successfully awarded the Mechanical Electrical contract for Stage 1 of the major Brisbane development at 300 George Street. The development encompasses a 7-storey basement, a 4 storey commercial podium, topped with a 40 level commercial tower, and 82 level residential tower. Nearly 2 years on, Stage 1 of the 3-stage project is nearing completion, and CEQ are finalising works on level 29 of the hotel tower, after handing over Fire Essential services for both the basement and podium.
As Brisbane temperatures soared into the high 30’s early March, CEQ was cooling things down with the successful completion of the Podium 4 cooling towers, and running of the chillers, marking a major milestone toward the completion of Stage 1, Phase 2 works. The completion of CEQ’s Stage 1, Phase 2 works is scheduled for April 2018.
