CEQ recognised at 2018 MEA Excellence Awards

13 July 2018

CEQ Australia attended the 2018 Master Electricians Australia Excellence Awards Breakfast on 13 July 2018, where it presented as finalist in the two categories:

Women in Contracting Finalist Tayla Barnhill with CEQ Managing Director Ryan Johnson

Electrician Tayla Barnhill was nominated for the Women In Contracting Award for her identified skill set, her willingness to be mobilised across the globe, and her quality level of service delivery.  Tayla presented to the judges after being identified as a finalist, and provided them with a good case for the winners trophy.  CEQ is extremely proud to have nominated Tayla for this Award and to support her through her career path.

CEQ nominated it’s Scrivener Dam project based in the ACT for Client SunWater, for the Industrial Project of the Year Award.  The project’s complexity and both physical and technical challenges provided a standout winner for the judging panel.  The award was received by Managing Director Ryan Johnson who said in his acceptance address: “this award is validation that the hard work of CEQ has paid off, and is proof that the exciting direction of the company is the right one for us and the industry.”

CEQ now progresses to the National Awards in Brisbane, November 2018, were Scrivener Dam will represent South Queensland for Industrial Project of the Year Australia.  Information regarding the awards can be found on the Master Electricians Website
